Welcome to the home of the Long Melford 90 branch of the Ipswich Town Supporters Club.
Long Melford branch endeavours to run coaches to as many away matches as possible. Away match coaches are self-funding and not funded from general branch funds.
Thus coaches are priced based on the cost of the coach hire and other costs divided by the number of passengers.
To keep costs reasonable we need sufficient passengers for each coach. So please
seriously consider travelling with us, we offer more pleasant, personal and fun travel to away matches as an alternative to the official travel.
You will find details at the top of this page of the matches we intend to run coaches to. Please let us know as early as possible if you are interested in travelling with us.
If you require match tickets you must notify us. If you do not require match tickets but still wish to travel on the coach we would appreciate it if you could still let us know as soon as possible so we have a clear indication of numbers. We will accept requests for coach travel only up until 3 days before the match but you must contact us to ensure there are seats available on the coach.
If you have booked match tickets and subsequently find you no longer require them you MUST let us know at least 1 week before the match. After this date tickets will have been paid for and you will be expected to pay for them. This also applies to cancellations on the day of travel for whatever reason. Please note it is not the responsibility of the branch to find replacements or arrange refunds from the ticket office.
Due to the Roadworks that have closed the Hadleigh Road in Ipswich now being completed, there is no longer any need for the Home Buses to leave half an hour earlier than normal as has been the case for recent matches. Home Match buses will therefore revert to their normal times from Saturday 3rd December 2011 until further notice. Please see Home Match Bus Times for more details.
Love it or hate it, you have your chance to vote on what the music is and even whether we have it at all (which will please the football purists and old school football fans). Season Ticket Holders can purchase up to four additional tickets for this Saturday's forthcoming game against Crystal Palace on Saturday 9th April 2011 at discount prices. Adult tickets for all areas of the ground (apart from the posh corporate hospitality bits) are priced at £10.
Senior Citizen and Under-20's tickets cost £8 (though under 20's tickets are not available in the Sir Bobby Robson Stand lower tier). Due to the Roadworks that have closed the Hadleigh Road in Ipswich now being completed, there is no longer any need for the Home Buses to leave half an hour earlier than normal as has been the case for recent matches. How to be a real supporter of your favorite team
There is not better pastime for a Sunday afternoon than watching a football game of your favorite team. Most fans from Ipswich choose to see the game from the comforts of their own home. A cold beer, a bag of chips and a widescreen TV seem like the perfect ingredients to a good match, don’t they? Well, you might want to reconsider that. The best way to support your club is to go to the stadium and cheer for your players from the fully-packed stands. Beer and chips are also served there, and the view beats any TV display ever made. More than that, you get to see the game accompanied by your friends and escorts.
How to plan your match day
The weekend is finally here and your team is about to play in front of their own fans. This is the event you have been waiting all week. Do not miss the chance to organize everything to perfection! Call some of your friends and invite them to the game. Going in a large group of supporters is always exciting. So, don’t waste this opportunity to call a UK escort at http://uk.eros.com/ as well. These lovely women you can meet on EROS are very passionate about sporting matches, even if they do not show it all the time. Having them with you in the crowd will surely be one of the highlights of the day.
Sing with the crowd
Once you are in the stadium you have to get with the crowd. This means learning the chants that supporters scream at the top of their lungs. If this is your first time watching your favorite team from the stands you might have some difficulty catching all the lyrics. Do not despair! With time and with a little help from your escorts you will apprehend all the hymns and shouts of the local fans.
Respect the opposite team
A good supporter is the one that cheers for his team and does not chant obscene shouts to the opposing players. Being an Ipswich football fan is all about fair-play. Whether your team is winning or losing, it is always important to show your respect to the opponents. Any UK escort will tell you that this is just a game and there is no need for animosity.
Keep cheering even when losing
No football club wins all their matches. The day will come when your players will be the under the weather and they will lose a crucial game right in front of your eyes. To be a real supporter of your team, you have to be there for better and for worse. Gather your escorts and friends and keep cheering for them. They are only having a bad day.
Real supporters never leave early
Everybody loves those matches when a team makes an incredible comeback and gets the upper hand after they were losing with just 5 minutes left of the game. That rare feat has a bigger chance of happening when the supporters keep cheering for the players down to the last minute. Your UK escort will surely be impressed by such an unforgettable triumph, so do not miss the chance of taking her to the game.
Join an online fan club
Nowadays, being in the stands is not enough to support your favorite team. You have to make your online presence known as well. Join a forum page or a social media fan club and take part in the discussions revolving around your local club. Ask your escorts and friends to register too, and increase the number of online supporters.
